Virtualization

Whether you are looking for Virtualization for Servers, as an end-to-end virtualization solution designed to enable pervasive data-centre virtualization, and significantly enhance capital and operational efficiency. Or Virtualization for Desktops, complete desktop environments hosted as virtual desktops on servers located in a centralised data-centre with users connected to these virtual desktops using either inexpensive thin clients or repurposed PCs - we can provide the software and support you need. Our technology offering includes a range of virtualization solutions.

Virt-manager

The "Virtual Machine Manager" application (virt-manager for short package name) is a desktop user interface for managing virtual machines. It presents a summary view of running domains, their live performance & resource utilization statistics. The detailed view graphs performance & utilization over time. Wizards enable the creation of new domains, and configuration & adjustment of a domain's resource allocation & virtual hardware. An embedded VNC client viewer presents a full graphical console to the guest domain.

KVM

Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) is a Linux kernel virtualization infrastructure. KVM supports native virtualization using Intel VT-x or AMD-v. Para-virtualization support is also available for Linux and Windows guests using the VirtIO framework; this includes a para-virtual Ethernet card, a disk I/O controller, a balloon device for adjusting guest memory-usage, and VGA graphics interface using VMware drivers.

A wide variety of guest operating-systems work with KVM, including many flavours of Linux, BSD, Solaris, Windows, Haiku, ReactOS etc and a patched version of KVM can run Mac OS X.
