Bristol, UK - Red Hat and LinuxIT announce their alliance with a goal to extending commercial Linux adoption and support into the enterprise. Red Hat has awarded LinuxIT Europe Advanced Partner status, in recognition of LinuxIT’s contribution to Red Hat’s success in the UK.

Peter Dawes-Huish CEO of LinuxIT commented: "LinuxIT was ideally profiled to incorporate Red Hat solutions, and was chosen as a Red Hat Advanced Partner for its proven commitment to Linux through its training of Red Hat Certified Engineers and investment in technical support infrastructure."

LinuxIT has responded to the perception that the availability of support for Linux is the barrier to its more widespread adoption. Over the last 10 years LinuxIT has developed a support model to deliver comprehensive support across all flavours of Linux in the enterprise.  These services cover the complete range of systems support ranging from break/fix to a hosted and managed service.
